Families
Families are the backbone of our society. At Shore we do all we can to build families that are
strong and healthy.
This means equipping families with tools to grow stronger,
caring for families within our church, and fostering healthy relationships within and between
families. It’s about our families being connected – building a sense of belonging so we can
support each other as we do life together.
Some of our family-based activities include:
- Mainly Music—a weekly music-based programme for preschoolers where mums can connect with each other in a relaxed environment
- Providing meals for families when babies are born or when people are going through difficult times
- Pre-marriage and pre-engagement counseling for couples
- Offering support with child care, housework, meals and prayer during an ongoing hospital stay
- Support and counselling for families
- Running courses on parenting, marriage enrichment and family lifes
