Children and families

We seek to partner with parents in nurturing the faith of their children, and help strengthen marriages in our church community and beyond.

Our children’s ministry runs four age-based programmes on Sunday mornings, during the church service, for children aged 0 to school year 6. Through these gatherings we help children understand the big story of the Bible, discover more of who God is and come to know Jesus in a personal way.

We also provide resources, pastoral care and occasional seminars to support and strengthen families and marriages.

Grapple (year 7-9)

Grapple is our intermediate school ministry at Shore. This is a crucial age where kids are grappling with faith and personal identity, and we want to support and encourage them in that journey. Our Grapple community meets during the church service on Sunday to hang out and explore how the Bible applies to real life. Grapple also has social events during school terms.

Youth (year 10-13)

Shore Youth Community is a dynamic youth ministry for high school students (year 10–13). Its purpose is to help students develop a growing relationship with God, experience genuine community, and get involved in God’s mission in the world. Programmes include a weekly gathering on Friday nights (during school terms) and regular social events.
