Teenagers today are confronted with a bewildering array of choices, challenges and changes. We are committed to shaping teenagers who live with purpose, direction and integrity among their generation.

Shore Youth Community (SYC) is a dynamic youth ministry for high school students (year 9 – 13). Its purpose is to help students develop a growing relationship with God, experience genuine community, and get involved in God’s mission in the world.

Each week SYC runs a youth service called The Village especially for teenagers, which involves worship, food, teaching, fun and community. During this service, students break into cluster groups where they discuss issues of faith that are relevant to their lives.

Through connections made at The Village, students form connections with their youth leaders and with one another that help them grow spiritually and make sense of their world. These relationships are also fostered through social activities and camps.
