- Bi-monthly dessert evenings, featuring testimonies and topical speakers. These are a great context to invite non-Christian friends along to.
- Bi-monthly breakfasts at a local café, featuring a guest speaker. These are a next step from the dessert evenings, designed to provoke a slightly deeper spiritual discussion.
- Life Groups especially for women.
- Girlfriends —a network of interest groups that meet to build friendships and provide a safe, fun place to invite friends (See more info below).
- Outreach events where women will feel comfortable inviting those to who don't normally attend church.

Girlfriends are interest-based groups for women at Shore, and their friends, that get together regularly to have fun and build community. Girlfriends groups are always open to new people, and are a fantastic way to connect with others at Shore.
There are currently four groups running:
This group meets monthly to make various crafts and have dessert. For more info, contact Janine Irvine - irvine.jja@xtra.co.nz
This is a group of women who catch a movie together on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. For more info, contact Amy Grant – amy.grant@flightcentre.co.nz
Another group gets together to watch a DVD on the 1st Wednesday of every month. For more info contact Jillian Vivian - jillian@platinumprojects.co.nz.
This group meets regularly to go for walks and other semi-active endeavours! For more info, contact Ruth Turnbull – ruthturnbull@xtra.co.nz or Debbie Taylor – debbie@shore.org.nz
This group gets together on the last Monday of each month to work on 'UnFinished Objects' - any craft or activity such as embroidery or photo albums, that needs finishing. For more info contact Janet Campbell - jcampbell@adhb.govt.nz.
