About Us

What we’re about: Loving God, loving each other, loving the world.

Loving God means knowing Him. Not just knowing about him, but having a real relationship with him. It means personally experiencing his forgiveness, his presence, his hope and his transforming power. As well as encouraging one another to cultivate this ever-deepening love for God individually, we also love God together. That’s why we gather as a community to worship him and hear from his Word together.

Loving each other is an expression of loving God. We love God by connecting with one another and caring for each other in practical ways. Our goal is to create the kind of community Jesus envisaged, where nobody stands alone and everybody has a strong sense of belonging and solidarity. Becoming this kind of community means practicing kindness, service, forgiveness, hospitality, reconciliation, warmth and generosity toward one another.

Loving the world involves participating in God’s mission on earth.It’s about bringing hope to individuals and communities by showing God’s love to them and sharing God’s love with them. This missional focus comes through both our words and actions. We have good news to share with people about the hope and healing that are available in Jesus. And we seek to demonstrate this good news by serving others in Jesus’ name, both in our local community and in broader contexts.
