Prayer
Prayer is a vital part of our church life and
underpins everything we do.
It teaches us to depend on God and not on our own effort and energy, and it
releases God's willingness to act in us and through us to bring about his
new creation on earth.
We encourage you to pray individually, and prayer is also an important part
of our life group meetings. In addition, we have an open prayer meeting every
Sunday before our first service, at 8:25am in the Performing Arts Centre at
Albany Junior High School. We also have a prayer chain, a network for prayer
needs within the church family. We hold a church prayer meeting once a term,
which is an opportunity for people to pray together for the needs of the
church, and be prayed for by the elders.
