In the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Goldilocks finds a bowl of porridge that is neither too hot nor too cold but 'just right'. Astronomers have discovered that Earth is a rare 'just right' planet, positioned uniquely to support complex life. How probable is it that this could occur by mere chance?
